Head Coach Jim Christian:
On today's win: "It was going to take a team effort today and we did that. What I was really proud of the most was for the first time all season, when we went to the bench and the energy of the game picked up. I thought it was obvious. You could see it on both ends of the floor, and that's what you have to have to have a good basketball team. Guys have to understand that and I was really proud of them."
On the team's offensive rebounding: I think we're a pretty good offensive rebounding team. Jon gets three a game, Maurice gets two a game. Ricardo Johnson is a really good offensive rebounder. TJ (Hall) is starting to be more aggressive going to the offensive boards. It's a big part of what we do. It's a way to get to the foul line; it's a way to get easy baskets. It's got to be something we bring every night.
Senior Guard Travis Wilkins:
On having depth on the whole team: "I think Coach has confidence in us that we're going to work our hardest and that we just have to be ready, whether it's the guys who are starting or the guys who come off the bench."
On maintaining confidence: "We just know that we have to be confident, whether or not we're making shots. We have to just keep shooting. Personally, I've kind of struggled throughout the beginning of the season, and it's nice to have the encouragement of my teammates and coaches. They know that you're going to get through it and eventually you're going to start knocking down some shots."
