Jim Christian, Head Coach
On the game
"I'm proud of the resiliency of the team today. You get tested in several ways and we needed to step up and respond. We tried to develop our entire roster as the year goes on. Days like today is how that is needed."

On his 200th win
"I'm thankful to these guys, the players who worked hard, and our staff, it's a team accomplishment. It doesn't mean much to me, it just means you've played a bunch of games."

On bench players
"I'm not surprised by any of those guys, we practice hard. We play the game with emotion, passion and energy, and that's all I can ask any of these guys to do. We need to keep moving forward. Oakland is a good basketball team, they're used to winning on the road. We stepped up when we needed to."

On practice during finals week
"The hardest part of playing all these games early in the year is that every practice is a preparation practice, we can't add or develop. This week is important for their academics. My favorite time is when finals are over and it's Christmas break, that's when we really do well."

D.J. Cooper, senior guard
On the game
"Coach emphasizes not letting big guys get easy buckets. We were just able to get stops and push the ball."

On the last two losses
"We never lost confidence, but it feels good to get the win today."

Walter Offutt, senior guard
On Ricardo Johnson
"He's great for us, I've gotten to know him and he reminds me of myself, like when I was at Ohio State and I got in the game, I gave it all out there. That's why he's going to be a great player for this team. He got in the game, got rebounds when we needed them and got some key steals when we needed them. He helped change the game."

On the last two losses
"Its good for us, coming off of two losses in a row, we needed to find who we are. It was kind of like last year after losing to Robert Morris and Bowling Green, then going to Buffalo. We wore them down in our second half, and I give credit to our bench."
