ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio University men’s basketball team’s February 1 game versus Toledo has been picked up by ESPNU, the league office announced Monday.

The Bobcats and Rockets will square off at 1 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The Bobcats won last season’s meeting in Athens, 76-67, and hold a 67-54 edge in the all-time series.

In addition to the contest against the Rockets, the Bobcats will have as many as eight additional MAC games televised on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and/or the ESPN Family of Networks.

Remaining telecasts on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel/ESPN3 include contests vs. Ball State (Jan. 15, 8 p.m.), vs. Miami (Feb. 8, 2 p.m.), at Toledo (Feb. 12, 7 p.m.) and at Akron (Feb. 22, 6 p.m.).

The January 25 game at Eastern Michigan will air on ESPNU at 11 a.m. In addition, the regular season finale at Miami (Mar. 7 or 8) can be selected by ESPN2 or Time Warner.

The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday (Jan. 15) with an 8 p.m. contest against Ball State inside the Convocation Center. The game will air live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel/ESPN3 and also will be broadcast on the Ohio IMG Sports Network.
