CLEVELAND -- The Ohio men's basketball team's Feb. 4 contest against Mid-American Conference East Division rival Akron has been picked up by CBS Sports Network and will now tip at noon ET from the Convocation Center, as announced the league office on Monday (Jan. 23).
The game, which was originally scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET tip-off, has been moved due to being selected as a MAC wildcard game.
The Bobcats fell to the Zips last Tuesday (Jan. 17), 83-68, at James A. Rhodes Arena in the first meeting of the season between the two squads.
The Ohio women's basketball team was originally scheduled to host MAC West Division foe Toledo at 1 p.m. ET on Feb. 4. That contest will now tip at 3 p.m. ET.
Coming off a 78-69 victory at Northern Illinois last Saturday (Jan. 21) in DeKalb, Ill, Ohio men's basketball (12-5, 4-2 MAC) returns to the Convocation Center on Tuesday (Jan. 24) to take on Mid-American Conference West Division foe Toledo (10-9, 3-3 MAC) in a 7 p.m. ET matchup. Tuesday's game will be regionally televised on Spectrum Sports and Buckeye Cable Sports Network (check local listings) as well as being broadcast on ESPN3 and is being streamed live nationally on WatchESPN and the ESPN app. Michael Reghi and Dave Cecutti have the call. The contest will also be broadcast on the Ohio IMG Sports Network, with 'Voice of the Bobcats' Russ Eisenstein and Rob Cornelius on the call.
