The Mid-American Conference announced today that the February 16 men's basketball game between Ohio and Kent State will be broadcast live on ESPNU as part of the league's February basketball television package.
Ohio and Kent State will square off at 11 a.m. inside the Convocation Center. The Bobcats won the season's first meeting between the teams, 69-68, on Jan. 26 at the M.A.C. Center in Kent, Ohio.
In addition to the Feb. 16 game against the Golden Flashes, Ohio's regular season finale (either March 8 or 9) against archrival Miami (Ohio) is a candidate to be picked up by ESPN or ESPN2. For a full list of television games this season, check out the Bobcats' schedule by clicking here.
Due to the 11 a.m. start time, the Ohio women's basketball game slated to air on SportsTime Ohio will now tip off at 4 p.m.
Ohio (15-5, 6-0 MAC) returns to action on Wednesday (Jan. 30) against Eastern Michigan (10-10, 3-3 MAC) inside the Convocation Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. "Voice of the Bobcats" Russ Eisenstein and Rob Cornelius will call the game live on the Ohio IMG Sports Network powered by Horizon, with audio and video streams available for free on OhioBobcats.com.
