This season, Ohio finished conference play with a 14-2 record and earned a share the 2013 MAC regular season title with Akron. It marked the Bobcats' first MAC regular season title since 1993-94.
Ohio's 14 league wins are the most ever by Ohio during a 16-game conference season. The Bobcats have posted 14 MAC wins four times when the league schedule has included 18 games.
Ohio In The MAC Tournament

The MAC Championship began in 1980 and Ohio first qualified for the event in 1981 as the No. 7 seed, falling to No. 2 Ball State, 85-70, in the quarterfinals. In the most recent MAC Tournament, Ohio won all three of its games and advanced to the 2012 NCAA Tournament with a 64-63 win over top-seeded Akron in the championship game.
2013 MAC Player of the Year D.J. Cooper (Chicago, Ill.) has posted 13.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in nine career MAC Tournament games. Senior forward Reggie Keely (University Heights, Ohio) averaged 11.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in last season's MAC Tournament.
