Men's Basketball Adds Freshman Khari Harley

ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio University men's basketball head coach Jim Christian has announced that freshman Khari Harley (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) has been added to the 2013-14 roster.

Harley, a two-year starter at Egg Harbor Township High School, averaged 18.4 points per game as a senior, garnering First Team Cape-Atlantic League honors and Press of Atlantic City Second Team accolades. The 6-foot-8-inch wing player scored 32 points in a 75-68 loss to Atlantic City in a CAL Tournament quarterfinal game this past season. He was named MVP of the Cape-Atlantic League All-Star Game in 2013.

Harley played for head coach George McNally at Egg Harbor and also saw action on the AAU circuit with head coach Tony Cavaleri and South Jersey Select (2010-12) and Team Izod/Sports U as a senior (head coach Brian Coleman).

The Bobcats officially open practice for the 2013-14 season on Friday, Sept. 27.
