ATHENS, Ohio - With the 2012 home opener rapidly approaching, Bobcat fans have broken the all-time men’s basketball season ticket sales record. The record represents the highest number of season tickets sold in Ohio Basketball history, as well as the highest revenue generated from season ticket sales.
When compared to the same week during the 2011-2012 preseason, season ticket sales have more than doubled with an increase of 128%. This number represents the greatest recorded increase in Ohio Basketball history.
Bobcat fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to ensure their desired seating location for 2012. The following sections have achieved over 85% capacity:
