Bobcats Look for Revenge Against Lamar

TIP OFF Ohio has only faced Lamar once before, suffering a 76-67 defeat during the 2008-09 season. Ohio and Lamar faced off on Dec. 6, 2008 as part of the Marques Maybin Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
Ohio comes into the contest looking to remain undefeated after earning victories already this season over Ohio Valley University, Middle Tennessee State and NC A&T. Ohio's played all three early-season games at home, where the Bobcats hold a 29-game non-conference home winning streak.
Lamar comes into the match-up with a 2-2 record overall. Both of Lamar's wins have come at home, while both losses have been on the road, most recently to Texas Tech, 77-54, in Lubbock on Saturday night.
Both teams have played Middle Tennessee State in 2009. While Ohio earned an 81-68 win over the Blue Raiders, Lamar dropped an 74-66 decision against MTSU.
WHO'S HOT Against NC A&T a week ago, freshman Jay Kinney became the third Bobcat player in as many games to lead the team in scoring, putting in 23 points in just he second collegiate contest... DeVaughn Washington has scored in double figures in each of the Bobcats' first three games.
NOTABLES FROM THE NC A&T GAME Jay Kinney, DeVaughn Washington, Steven Coleman and D.J. Cooper each scored in double-figures against the Aggies, while senior center Kenneth van Kempen pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds to lead the Bobcats on the boards... Ohio as a team shot better than 80% (21 of 26) from the free throw line and committed fewer turnovers than their opponents for the third consecutive game.
