ATHENS, Ohio - In honor of the memories that the Convocation Center has provided Bobcat fans over the last 40 years, Ohio Athletics is urging fans to help make new memories for area children in need this holiday season by bringing a new toy to donate at the Bobcats' Dec. 3 showdown with Tulsa.

All new, unwrapped toys collected at The Convo will be donated to Athens County Children's Services to fill the needs of local children. Toys meant for children from ages 3-12 are preferred.

The toy donation drive is being held in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of The Convo, which will also be celebrated on Dec. 3. Tickets for the Tulsa game will be sold for just $1, and parking for the event will be free of charge. The homage to The Convo will also include photo boards displaying prominent memories from the building's first 40 years of existence, a tribute to the 1968-69 Ohio men's basketball team and various features on Bobcat TV.

Fans also have one more day to vote for their favorite men's basketball moment in Convo history, as the polls will close on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET. Votes may be cast by clicking on the Convocation Center button on the right side of the men's basketball home page at ohiobobcats.com.

The five most-voted upon moments in will be revealed on Bobcat TV in the week leading up to Ohio's clash with Tulsa at 7 p.m. ET.
