John Groce Show Debuts Monday At Donatos
Nov. 30, 2008 ATHENS, Ohio - The hour-long John Groce Show will make its debut at 7 p.m. ET on Monday at Donatos Pizza and Ashby's Ice Cream on East State St. in Athens. Hosted by Russ Eisenstein, the Voice of the Bobcats, the program will air 11 times throughout the season. Fans can listen in on WSEO 107.7 FM, or over the Internet at ohiobobcats.com, as Groce and Eisenstein recap the George Mason game and look ahead to Wednesday's matchup with Tulsa. Questions will be taken from the audience, but fans can also pose questions for Coach Groce by calling (866) 993-2555. Senior guard Michael Allen (Detroit, Mich.) will be the guest on the inaugural John Groce Show. Allen, who is averaging 6.0 points and 3.7 assists per game this season, will drop by for a segment near the midway point of the show. Ohio will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Convocation Center on Wednesday when it welcomes Tulsa for non-conference showdown scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The game will feature $1 tickets and free parking, as well as a tribute to the 1968-69 Bobcats, video board features on some of The Convo's most historic moments and a toy donation drive to benefit Athens County Children's Services.
