Joining the Ohio staff in 2005 is Jamar Cain, who will work with the defensive ends and assist in breaking down film of opponents. A native of Sacramento, California, Cain was a Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference defensive end at New Mexico State where he played under the tutelage of current Ohio coaches Ross Els and Gerry Gdowski. He spent the 2004 season coaching defensive linemen at Sacramento City College after one year on the staff at John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento. Cain, who is married to the former DeCarla Kincy, is a 2002 graduate of New Mexico State with a degree in family consumer science and is pursuing his master's degree in coaching education.
