2014: Named the Athlon Sports MAC Player of the Week (Sept. 2)... Saw action in eight games, and started seven... Finished the season with 1156 passing yards and went 94 of 160 with just four interceptions... Had eight total touchdowns... Rushed for 390 yards on 82 carries... Recorded a season high 262 passing yards and two passing touchdowns against Kent State (Aug. 30)... Tallied a career high 86 rushing yards on four carries in the home opener against Idaho (Sept 20)... His lone rushing touchdown came against Buffalo (Nov 5).

2013: Saw action in a career-high 11 games... Appeared in the Bobcats' season opener at Louisville (Sept. 1) and went 4-of-8 through the air for 52 yards... Had a 37-yard pass to Chase Cochran in the season opener at Louisville... Rushed for 31 yards on four carries against Marshall (Sept. 14)... Was 3-of-7 for 38 yards at Buffalo (Nov. 5)... Closed out the year on a high note at the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl (Dec. 23) as he was a perfect 3-for-3 for 100 yards and one touchdown through the air... His lone touchdown came on an 80-yard pass to Donte' Foster, which tied the game at 14 apiece in the second quarter.

2012: Finished the year by appearing in seven games... Made his first career collegiate appearance against New Mexico State (Sept. 8) and went 3-for-6 for 34 yards... Registered his first career start at home against Norfolk State (Sept. 22) going 14-of-20 for 199 yards, while tossing four touchdown passes... His four touchdown passes where the most by an Ohio quarterback since Cleve Bryant threw four touchdowns back in 1968... Saw action against Akron, recording one rush for five yards... Rushed for 32 yards against Eastern Michigan (Nov. 1)... Made an appearance in the Bobcats' 45-14 win over Louisiana-Monroe in the Independence Bowl (Dec. 28).

2011: Redshirted.

Prior to Ohio: Played quarterback, defensive back, safety, punter and kicker at Lincoln Southeast High School... Tallied 2,725 passing yards with 22 passing touchdowns along with 471 yards rushing and 14 rushing touchdowns in high school career... Totaled 1,411 passing yards with 12 touchdown passes and 225 yards rushing to go along with eight rushing touchdowns as a senior... Named Super State first team, All-Conference, and All-City as a senior... Member of the All-Nebraska second team as a junior... Helped lead team to a State semifinal appearance as a senior and two-straight conference championships... Four-time letterwinner in football and basketball... Basketball Super State first team, All-Nebraska first team, All-Conference and All-City as a junior.
