2013: Finished second on the team with a career-high 72 tackles... Also totaled five pass breakups... Appeared in all 13 games and started in 10 of those contests... Earned Academic All-MAC honors for his work in the classroom... Opened the year with eight tackles against nationally-ranked Louisville (Sept. 1)... Tallied 11 tackles (four solo) the following week against North Texas (Sept. 7) to help Ohio to its first win of the season... Posted five tackles and helped anchor a defensive unit that limited Akron to just 157 yards of total offensive (Oct. 5)... Tied a season-high with 11 tackles against Eastern Michigan... Twice made a season-high seven tackles, first against Ball State on Oct. 15 and again in the MAC Championship game against Northern Illinois on Dec. 2 ... Made at least one tackle in all of his 13 game appearances ... Forced one fumble against Kent State on Oct. 1 ... Recovered two fumbles on the season.
