2012: Finished the year with a team-best 98 tackles... Was one of only seven players on the team that started in every game... Made seven solo tackles in Ohio's 24-14 win at Penn State on Sept. 1 ... Recovered one fumble at Penn State... Totaled nine tackles at home against New Mexico State (Sept. 8)... Recorded 1.5 tackles for loss in the Bobcats' win over Norfolk State (Sept. 22)... Collected a season-high 16 tackles versus Buffalo (Oct. 6)... Hauled in his first career interception against Akron (Oct. 13)... Logged 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack at Miami (Oct. 27)... Posted eight tackles, an interception and one pass breakup against Eastern Michigan (Nov. 1)... Recorded six tackles at Ball State (Nov. 14)... Closed out the year with a monster game against Louisiana-Monroe in the Independence Bowl as he totaled nine tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack en route to earning Defensive Most Valuable Player honors.
2011: Played in all 14 games... Finished the year with 35 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks all of which were career highs... Posted five tackles in the home-opener versus Gardner-Webb... Registered a half sack in the Bobcats win over Marshall... Earned MAC East Defensive Player of the Week honors for his effort against Miami where he tallied 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks... Closed out the year with seven tackles in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
2010: Posted one solo tackle against the Troy Trojans on Dec. 18 ... Had one tackle at Marshall on Sept. 25.
Prior to Ohio: Served as team captain during his senior year... Earned All-State Second Team honors following the 2008 and 2009 seasons... Coached by Matt Jordan... Also competed in basketball and track.
