Prior to Ohio: Four-year varsity letterwinner... Served as the team captain during his senior year... Helped guide Mentor High School to Ohio State Playoffs in each of the last three seasons... Also helped propel Mentor to state runner-up honors in 2013 and 2011... Earned First Team All State honors... Was selected as the Northeast Ohio Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013... Received Special Mention All-State honors in 2012... Two-time First Team All-District honoree...
