Andrew Mooney is in his second year as a graduate assistant for the Ohio University football program. In his role, Mooney works primarily with the Bobcats offensive unit.
Mooney joined the Ohio coaching staff after a successful playing career at Ohio and New Mexico State. During his two years in Athens, he earned All-MAC honors in both his junior and senior seasons.
As a freshman at New Mexico State, Mooney was named Sporting News Second Team All-America and a All-Sun Belt Second Team selection after he caught 27 passes for 372 yards and two touchdowns.
As a junior, Mooney burst on the scene at Ohio hauling in nine touchdown receptions, which stood as a single season program record until 2011. In his final season as a Bobcat, Mooney finished his career with 27 receptions for 287 yards.
