Ohio opens the 2014 season on Aug. 30 at Kent State

2013: Started in 12 of the Bobcats' 13 games... Led the Bobcats with 88 tackles... Finished second on the team with tackles for loss (8.5)... Opened the year with eight tackles at Louisville (Sept. 1)... Tallied five solo tackles and a sack in the Bobcats' home opener against North Texas (Sept. 7)... Recorded a season-best 10 tackles and a sack versus Marshall (Sept. 14)... Tallied seven tackles and a sack against Miami (Oct. 26)... Finished with eight tackles at Buffalo (Nov. 5)... Closed out the regular season with eight tackles versus Massachusetts (Nov. 29)... Recorded six tackles in the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl (Dec. 23).

2012: Finished the year with 21 tackles and saw action in 11 games... Made one solo tackle in Ohio's 24-14 win at Penn State on Sept. 1... Notched a pair of tackles in theBobcats' come-from-behind win at Marshall (Sept. 15)... Recorded a 0.5 sack at Massachusetts (Sept. 29)... Prior to Ohio: Played linebacker at Oak Hills High School where he tallied 248 tackles with 9.5 sacks and six forced fumbles ... Named top recruit in the MAC by ESPN in 2011 ... Named first-team All-Conference and All-District ... Served as a senior captain... Three-year letterwinner in football and once in baseball... Owned a 3.5 grade point average in high school.
