On the timeout called before the final Wyoming touchdown:

It was my call to take the timeout at that point in time, there were several reasons for it, but it was certainly my call. We wanted to give more thought to what we wanted to do in coverage and they were hurrying up things a great deal, and it seemed like we had some questions about what we wanted to get done.

 

About Brad Bower's performance:

It was a tough game to be a quarterback, in terms of trying to establish a running game, and if you are unable to establish a running came, it becomes so one dimensional. I thought that Brad made some good throws and plays to help us get a lead.

 

On team being worn-down:

We're a little beat up, and this was a very difficult football game. We are coming off a week where we are a little beat up, but really there is no way to use that to explain how the game went today.  Hopefully, we will be able to get some of guys back that are banged up for our game against Kent.

 

On having the game slip away in the fourth quarter:

We weren't able to lock it down on either side of the ball. There can be no pinpointing in this game, because there were opportunities that we left open both offensively and defensively.

On the game atmosphere:

Just an emotional rollercoaster.  I don't think I've ever been in a game that was like this, in my life.  The heart of a very determined football team came through in the end.  It was uphill, in the wind all day long, and they were not to be denied.

 

On the Bobcats:

I've got to hand it to a tough Bobcat team, they played hard, they took advantage of every mistake we made, but in the end they just weren't enough.

 

On offensive mistakes:

It's more fun to learn from your mistakes when you win than it is when you lose like last week.

 

On the team's heart:

The line stepped it up on both sides of the ball. (The running backs) only had 30 yards a piece at halftime, so that must tell you about the heart and determination of this football team.
