OHIO NOTES With his 11th rush of the game, Kalvin McRae went over the 100-yard mark for the second week in a row, marking the first time an Ohio player rushed for 100 yards or more in consecutive weeks since Chad Brinker in 2002. Scott Mayle had his first career kick return for a touchdown with a career-long 88 yarder. The kick return for a touchdown was Ohio's first since 1998. Justin Fitzgerald had his first career rush and touchdown, going 80 yards, which was Ohio's longest play from scrimmage this season and the longest since Jamel Patterson's 80-yard run in 1999. This tied for the 6th longest in school history. Matt Muncy had a career high with two fumble recoveries. Eric Kenkel had his first career sack and forced fumble. The Bobcats 31 points in the first half is their highest-scoring half since scoring 41 in the first half against Eastern Michigan on Oct. 12, 2002 (W, 55-27). Ohio's 28 points in the second quarter was the most since scoring 28 in the third quarter against Central Michigan on Oct. 21, 2000 (W, 52-3). Kalvin McRae rushed for a career high 264 yards, marking the third time in Ohio history that a Bobcat player rushed for 200 or more yards twice in a season. Steveland Hookfin was the last to do it in 1998. Arnold Welcher did it three times in 1975. McRae recorded 200 yards vs. Kent State on September 24. Kalvin McRae's 264 yards rushing is currently the second highest in the nation and it's the first time a Bobcat has ran over 250 yards since 1996. It is also the third highest in Ohio's history. Kalvin McRae's 29 rushing attempts matched his career high. James Magee recorded his first career rushing attempt. He finished the game with 26 yards on eight carries. William Norwood has a career high of 2 catches for 18 yards. This is the first time Ohio has had over 400 yards rushing since 2002. Matt Muncy recorded a career-high 2.0 sacks. He also recovered two fumbles. Lucas Sullivan had a career-long reception of 6 yards. Scott Mayle ended his streak of 28 straight games with a reception. Jameson Hartke had a career high of 8 total tackles and a career high of 7 solo tackles.
