-With Ohio's win and Miami's 24-21 loss, the Bobcats claimed their third MAC East title in the last six years.
-Ohio's win over Bowling Green was its third straight victory over the Falcons. The Bobcats' win was also their fourth-consecutive victory which is a season-best.
-The Bobcats improved to 8-1 in the month of November. Head coach Frank Solich has a 15-7 record in the month of November since taking over as head coach at Ohio in 2005.
-Ohio trailed 28-19 in the fourth quarter, but rallied back to win the game. The Bobcats' fourth-quarter rally marked just the fifth win for Ohio since 2005 when trailing after three quarters.
-Sophomore quarterback Tyler Tettleton finished the game with 194 passing yards and now ranks 10th on the all-time career list.
-Tettleton also rushed for a career-high 128 yards.
-Tettleton rushed for one touchdown and passed for another. In 2011, he has accounted for 31 touchdowns. No quarterback in Ohio history has ever recorded 30 touchdowns or more in a season.
-Senior wide receiver Riley Dunlop caught five passes for 96 yards. He now ranks in the top 10 in both categories all time.
-Dunlop's 96 yards receiving was a career-high.
-With his second quarter touchdown, senior wide receiver LaVon Brazill became the all-time single season leader for touchdown receptions with 10.
-Junior kicker Matt Weller connected on a school record five field goals, including a season-long 49-yard field goal and the game-winning field goal.
-Senior linebacker Noah Keller finished with a game-high 15 tackles to surpass 400 for his career. He is just the eighth player in school history to post 400 tackles or more.
