Ohio Game Notes Matt Miller's blocked punt was the first punt he has had blocked this season, and the first for the Bobcats since the 2004 Pittsburgh game. T.J. Wright set a career high with 9 solo tackles, 10 total tackles and 2 tackles for a loss. Landon Cohen matched his career high with two tackles for loss. Austen Everson ran for a season high 70 yards. Ohio held Martin Nance to no touchdowns, ending his nine-game touchdown streak. Kalvin McRae had 72 yards in the game to move into third place on the Ohio single-season rushing list with 1,153 yards. Miami Game Notes Ryne Robinson had his sixth career punt return for a touchdown. It's the third year in a row he's returned a punt for a touchdown against Ohio. Jimmy Murray finished with a season high 113 rushing yards. Martin Nance went over 1,000 yards receiving for the season, joining running back Brandon Murphy and wide receiver Ryne Robinson as RedHawks over 1,000 yards from scrimmage this season. Martin Nance has had a catch in 31 straight games and Ryne Robinson has had a catch in 30 straight games. Josh Betts went over 3,000 yards passing for the season making Miami only the seventh team in NCAA I-A history to feature a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers. Todd Soderquist is tied for Miami's most field goal attempts in a season with 27. |
