Team Notes
-The Bobcats win over Louisiana-Monroe marks Ohio's second all-time bowl victory and its second straight bowl win.
-Ohio tied the Independence Bowl record for most points scored. LSU was the last team to score 45 points (vs. Michigan State - 1995).
-The victory hands Ohio its seventh nine-win season in school history.

Offensive Notes
-Quarterback Tyler Tettleton and running back Beau Blankenship were named Co-Offensive Most Valuable Players.
-Tettleton passed for a game-high 331 yards through the air. It marks the fifth time in his career in which he has surpassed 300 yards passing.
-Tettleton completed seven-consecutive passes to open the game.
-Tettleton also threw a pair of touchdown passes.
-Blankenship set the Independence Bowl record by scoring four touchdowns.
-Blankenship's four touchdowns also tied a school record.
-Blankenship rushed for a game-high 104 yards on the ground.
-Blankenship has now rushed for 100 yards-or-more in nine games this season. His nine 100-yard rushing games this season is a school record.
-Ohio wide receivers Chase Cochran and Tyler Futrell each posted single game career highs as they finished with 162 and 133 yards, respectively.
-The last time Ohio had two receivers surpass 100 yards in the same game was back in 2003 when Scott Mayle and Anthony Hackett finished with 109 and 108, respectively

Defensive Notes
-Junior linebacker Keith Moore was named the Independence Bowl Defensive Most Valuable Player.
-Moore finished the game with nine tackles (seven solo), two sacks and two tackles for loss.
-Senior defensive lineman Tremayne Scott had five tackles and a team-high two sacks. -Scott made his first start on defense since September.
-Senior linebacker Jelani Woseley recorded his team-leading fourth interception on the year.
-As a team, Ohio recording 10.0 tackles for loss.
-As a team, the Bobcats recorded a season-high three interceptions.

Head Coach Frank Solich
-The Bobcats win over ULM, marks the fourth bowl victory for head coach Frank Solich.
-Solich has now posted wins in the Fiesta, Alamo, Famous Idaho Potato and Independence Bowls.
-Four of Ohio's seven nine-win seasons have come under the direction of head coach Frank Solich.
-With the win, Solich has collected his 59th career win at Ohio.

Ohio-ULM/Sun Belt Series Notes
-This was the first all-time meeting between Ohio and Louisiana-Monroe.
