ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio football program and head coach Frank Solich announced Wednesday that 24 newcomers will join its ranks next season. The class includes 21 incoming freshmen and three junior college transfers.
The class exhibits quite a bit of variety as the Bobcats will welcome student-athletes at nine different positions, including seven defensive linemen.
The class includes student-athletes from nine different states (and one from Washington, D.C.), including 11 from Ohio.
The Bobcats begin spring practice on March 28th, while their spring game will be April 16th.
