ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio football team will play its annual Green & White game on Saturday, April 21. Kick-off at Peden Stadium is scheduled for 2 p.m.

For the second straight year, Ohio Athletics has partnered with the Ohio University Sports Administration & Facility Management Program to present the Bobcat Blitz, a series of events surrounding the spring football game.

The day begins at 10 a.m. with the Gridiron Gallop 5k Run/Walk that begins at Peden Stadium and ends at Pepsi Tail-Great Park. At 11 a.m. Pepsi Tail-Great Park will host a 64-team cornhole tournament. The winning team will receive a year's supply of Hungry Howie's Pizza and a set of cornhole boards. At 11:30 a.m. kids will have the opportunity to participate in the Rufus Run, a race with the Bobcat mascot.

Festivities going on all afternoon at Pepsi Tail-Great Park include a silent sports merchandise auction, an appearance by the Marching 110, food and activities for the kids.

The format for the Green & White game has yet to be determined. The Bobcats, coming off a MAC East Division championship and their first bowl appearance since 1968, begin spring practice on Monday, March 26.
