ATHENS, Ohio – Six home games highlight the 2017 Ohio football schedule which was released Monday.
Ohio begins the 2017 slate at home against Hampton and kicks off a five-game month of September on Sept. 2 against the Pirates.
The Bobcats then travel to Purdue on Sept. 8 before returning home to host Kansas Sept. 16.
Ohio begins Mid-American Conference play at Eastern Michigan Sept. 23 before wrapping up nonconference action at UMass on Sept. 30.
Ohio returns home to face Central Michigan Oct. 7 and hits the road to face Bowling Green Oct. 14.
The Bobcats will host a three-game home stand beginning Oct. 21 against Kent State. Miami comes to Athens for a matchup on Halloween (Oct. 31 )which will be broadcast on either ESPN2 or ESPNU and Ohio plays Toledo on Nov. 8 at Peden Stadium in a game which will be carried on ESPN2, ESPNU or CBSSN.
Ohio wraps up the season on the road at Akron Nov. 14 on either ESPN2 or ESPNU and Buffalo Nov. 24 in a game broadcast on ESPNU, CBSSN or ESPN3.
