ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University Football team opened its 2013 Spring Schedule on Tuesday at 6:15 a.m. inside Peden Stadium.
The Bobcats returned to the practice field for the first time since their 45-14 win over Louisiana-Monroe in the Advocare V100 Independence Bowl.
Ohio's first spring practice also marked the first for All-MAC defensive back Travis Carrie, who returned to the field for the first time since suffering an injury, which sidelined him for the entire 2012 season. Prior to the 2012 season, Carrie was named to the Jim Thorpe Watch List.
During the months of March and April, the Bobcats will take part in 14 practices and the annual Green and White Scrimmage.
On March 20, the `Cats will hold their annual NFL Pro Day. The spring schedule will conclude on April 13 as Ohio plays host to the annual Green and White Game, which will begin at 2 p.m. inside Peden Stadium.
All spring practices are open to the general public and fans are encouraged to attend. The Bobcats' annual NFL Pro Day is not open to the general public.
