ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University football team held its first scrimmage of spring practice Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats took part in 60 plays inside Peden Stadium.
Redshirt sophomore Cameron Wilson (Dublin, Ohio) and redshirt junior Derrius Vick (Lincoln, Neb.) led the Bobcats offensively. Wilson caught a pair of passes for 75 yards, while Vick and Dylan Leffingwell each threw a touchdown.
Defensively, Ohio registered five sacks and tallied an interception.
Redshirt senior Josh Kristoff (Pickerington, Ohio) picked off the Bobcats' lone pass of the afternoon. He also tallied a tackle for loss.
Sophomore Tarell Basham (Rocky Mount, Va.) and Cody Grilliot (Clayton, Ohio) both tallied 1.5 sacks to lead the team.
All spring practices are open to the general public and fans are encouraged to attend. The spring schedule will conclude on April 12 as Ohio plays host to the annual Green and White Game, which will begin at 2 p.m. inside Peden Stadium.
