Frank Solich

April 11, 2014

ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University football team got its final tuneup prior to the 2014 Green and White Game on Wednesday as the squad held practice inside Peden Stadium.

Following the 14th and final day of its spring practice session, quarterback Derrius Vick (Lincoln, Neb.), safety Josh Kristoff (Pickerington, Ohio) and head coach Frank Solich recapped spring practice with reporters.

The Bobcats will conclude #OhioFBSpring14 on Saturday with the Green and White game. The game is set to begin at 2 p.m.

For the third straight year, the game will be broadcast live on WXTQ, Power 105 in Southeast Ohio and on OhioBobcats.com from 2-3 p.m. "Voice of the Bobcats" Russ Eisenstein and Rob Cornelius will have the call. As opposed to being play-by-play driven, the broadcast will be highlight and information driven, recapping last season and looking ahead to the 2014 campaign.

In addition, fans will hear full length interviews with Solich, Vick, defensive end Tarell Basham (Rocky Mount, Va.) and running back Daz' Patterson (Tampa, Fla.). Click here to listen to the broadcast for free.

Peden Stadium gates will open at 12:00 p.m. with the Ohio Equipment Surplus Sale inside Gate One. Items to be sold include game and practice jerseys, shorts, duffel bags, shoes, hoodies, jackets and more from each of Ohio's 16 sports. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted at the sale.

Admission to the Green and White Game is free for all fans.
