ATHENS, Ohio-The Ohio football squad completed a 75-play scrimmage Saturday in the program's annual spring game at Peden Stadium.
Quarterback Tyler Tettleton completed 11 of 21 passes for 151 yards, which included a pair of touchdown tosses to tight end Zac Clark. Fellow signal-caller Kyle Snyder went 5-for-12 for 65 yards. The duo found 10 different receivers on the day, which were led by wideout Landon Smith's three catches for 53 yards and tight end Derek Roback's three catches for 34 yards. Clark's scoring grabs went for 23 and 1 yard, respectively. Wideout Chris Johann had the longest catch of the afternoon, a 41-yarder deep down the middle off the arm of Tettleton, to set up Clark's second score.
Snyder was the team's leading rusher with 11 carries for 44 yards, while running back Ryan Boykin toted the ball seven times for 29 yards.
Kickers Matt Weller and Kyle Clinton both converted field goals of 34 and 32 yards, respectively.
Defensively, linebacker Blake Jones had five tackles and defensive lineman Kyle Kozak had four stops, which included three sacks. Cornerback Mose Denton also added four stops and a half sack.
The Bobcats will complete their spring practice schedule next week with drills on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at Peden Stadium.
