CANTON, Ohio - Former Ohio University football players JD Bales, Bakari Bussey, Tyler Futrell and Corey Hasting took part in the 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan College Football Senior Bowl this past Saturday at Fawcett Stadium. The four former Bobcats helped the Ohio All-Star team to a 10-7 victory over the Michigan All-Stars.

This year's game marked the fourth year of the Senior Bowl, but the first with the Ohio vs. Michigan format. The Senior Bowl features the top collegiate football players from Ohio and Michigan from all divisions including - NCAA FBS, FCS, DII, DIII and NAIA.

Bussey (West Chester, Ohio) scored the lone touchdown of the afternoon for Team Ohio as he hauled in a 72-yard pass in the first quarter from former Kent State quarterback Spencer Keith. The 72-yard pitch and catch was the longest play of the afternoon for either team. Bussey finished the day with two catches for 84 yards.

Futrell (Altoona, Pa.) also posted a strong offensive showing as he caught three passes for 48 yards. His longest reception came in the second quarter as he pulled in a 24-yard catch. His second reception was for 15 yards and led to a field goal.

Hasting (Miamiville, Ohio) played big role for Team Ohio defensively as he registered a pair of tackles and a totaled team-best three pass breakups.

Bales (Beavercreek, Ohio) also saw time on the offensive line as helped Team Ohio outgain Team Michigan 263-227.
