ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University football team announced Monday a new two-game series with Marshall University that is set to begin in 2019 and conclude in 2020.
Marshall will play host to Ohio on Sept. 14, 2019 with Ohio welcoming the Herd to Athens the following season on Sept. 19, 2020.
The current Ohio-Marshall football series is scheduled to end after a Sept. 12, 2015, date at Peden Stadium.
Ohio owns a 32-19-6 series advantage over Marshall and has won each of the past three meetings with the Herd.
The two schools will meet in Huntington this season on Saturday, Sept. 13 at noon. The contest will be televised on the CBS Sports Network. This season's game is the 58th in the series.
