ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio Athletics is pleased to announce that the 32nd annual Ox Roast will be presented by Citizens Bank, the official bank of the Bobcats. The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Peden Stadium and is open to the public for free!
All fans are invited to join Ohio coaches and student-athletes to help kick off the 2012-2013 athletic season. This season's Ox Roast is presented by Citizens Bank, which is proud to continue the tradition of building stronger communities in southeast Ohio.
Andrea Lewis, Business Development Officer for the Citizens Bank of Athens, said, "This event summarizes the Bank's desire to give back and build stronger communities. We are proud to support local families and give our local children an opportunity to play and interact with their favorite Bobcat players."
Peden Stadium gates will open at 5:30 pm, with dinner served at 6:00 pm. Student-athletes and coaches from Ohio Football and several of Ohio's fall sports will be available for autographs and to meet with fans. Inflatable games and cornhole will also be set up for all fans to enjoy.
