RV Parking

All RV parking for home football games is designated to the Blue Lot, regardless of the parking pass held. The Ohio Bobcat Club parking pass is valid for one parking space, thus any additional spaces occupied by an RV will cost the owner $5 per space. To prepay for RV parking expenses, call Parking Services at (740) 593-1917. Prepayment for RV spaces must be completed at least 72 business hours in advance of game day.

Handicap Parking

Handicap parking spaces can be found in the Green, Orange, and Blue Lots. For the Green, Orange, and Blue Lots, vehicles with a valid handicap hang-tag will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis for a $5 fee or for free with a valid Ohio Bobcat Club parking pass. FYI, handicap parking spaces in the Green Lot have been moved to coincide with federal safety standards. However, appropriate handicap parking will still be available in this lot. Ohio Athletics exceeds the number of ADA handicap parking spaces required, but spaces are still limited so guests are advised to arrive early.

The "Round-about"

The City of Athens has just recently replaced the former Richland Avenue and SR 682 intersection with a new circular intersection. Please use appropriate caution when navigating this intersection for the first time. Allow extra time for navigating the intersection as traffic congestion may occur on gameday. In addition, the local law enforcement will enforce a strict "No Parking Zone" for the shoulders of HWY 682. For more information, please visit the city website at http://www.ci.athens.oh.us/.

Special Games

September 4th: Our first home game this year falls on "move-in day" for Ohio University undergrads.  Please plan extra time for navigating around Peden Stadium on this day as additional traffic is expected.

October 16th: Homecoming crowds are typically larger than other games, and Ohio Parking Services will be offering special shuttle service for guests from outer parking lots on this day. The complimentary shuttles will run from Lot 143 (Central Foods), Lots 145 & 148 (Facilities), Lot 147 (Human Resources), Lot 109 (Life Sciences), and the HDL Center. Additional stops will be added based on event need. Run time for the shuttles will be from 12 p.m. ET - one (1) hour after the conclusion of the game. The drop-off and pick-up at Peden Stadium will be in the Orange Parking Lot.

October 30th: Halloween in Athens brings large crowds and as a result parking is restricted during this weekend. Please be aware that Parking Services will TICKET/TOW ALL VEHICLES IN PARKING LOTS USED FOR ATHLETIC EVENT PARKING STARTING AT 10 p.m. ET (after the game). These lots include 132 & 133 (Peden Stadium), 134 (Walter Hall), 81, 82, 83 & 84 (Clippinger Hall), 127, 128, & 129 (Convocation Center) 110, 111, UMA Patient Parking, 125, 143, 145, 147, 148 & 109. A map detailing lot locations can be accessed at www.facilities.ohiou.edu/parking.

All other university lots will be ticketed/towed at 7 p.m. ET. Vehicles will be ticketed/towed from university and athletic event parking lots regardless of parking pass displayed or if event parking was purchased. Individuals with questions regarding parking on this date should contact the Parking Services Office at 740-593-1917.

November 4th: Our only midweek game this year requires us to share the parking lots with Ohio University employees who work until 5 p.m. ET. Please be aware that parking in some lots may be limited due to this circumstance. Also, please note that parking spaces, even with an Ohio Bobcat Club permit, cannot be guaranteed on this date.

Gameday Parking

Parking is available for individual games in the Gameday Parking lots. Admittance is on a first-come, first-served basis for $5 per space.
