ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University Athletics Department played host to a record crowd at the 32nd Annual OX Roast Presented by Citizens Bank inside Peden Stadium Saturday evening.
In total, over 1,500 fans attended the event and were treated to free food courtesy of The Citizens Bank - with support from Ohio University Athletics prepared by Millstone Barbeque and O'Betty's Hot Dogs. Staff from the Citizens Bank and Ohio Athletics stood behind the service lines to serve our athletes, donors, and community members.
"Today was a special event for our fans," said Director of Marketing Drake Bolon. "The OX Roast is unique in that it allows our fans interact with our student-athletes prior to the season and I think it really gets people excited for Ohio Football."
In addition, several of Ohio's fall sports were available for autographs. The event also featured inflatable games and cornhole for all fans to enjoy.
The Ohio Ticket Sales Team also held a "Select-a-Seat" event as part of the program.
