Ohio enters the 2012 campaign by returning 15 starters after posting its first-ever bowl victory in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and its first 10-win season since 1968.
Five of Ohio's returning starters received Mid-American Conference All-League honors, including place kicker Matt Weller as he was named Special Teams Player of the Year. Quarterback Tyler Tettleton also returns for his junior season after he accounted for 38 touchdowns in 2011 and became the first Ohio signal-caller to throw for over 3,000 yards.
