2005 Ohio Football 1st Quarter -Justin Fitzgerald made his first start of the season after missing the Northwestern game with an injury. -T.J. Wright recorded his first career sack in the 1st quarter. -With 8:58 left in the 1st quarter, the first instant replay review occurred in school history. The call, T.J. Wright did not have control of the interception, stood -Kalvin McRae's 15-yard run in the 1st quarter was his longest of the season. -A new Peden Stadium record was set with 24,545 people in attendance. -Dion Byrum's 1st quarter interception was his second forced turnover and second touchdown return in the first two games. -Byrum's interception return for a touchdown was the first in his career. -The interception return was the 10th non-offensive score in last 13 games for the Bobcats and the first interception return for a score since Tyler Russ returned one 33 yards versus Buffalo last season. 2nd Quarter -Landon Cohen's 2nd quarter sack was the first of his career. -Austen Everson's reception and Theo Jefferson's pass in the 2nd quarter were the firsts in their respective careers. -Brandon Peterson's 2nd quarter reception was his second of the game, setting a new career high. -Scott Mayle's 2nd quarter reception extended his consecutive games with a reception streak to 24.
3rd Quarter -Jameson Hartke's 3rd quarter sack was his second of the game, setting a career-high.
