ATHENS, Ohio - Senior place kicker Matt Weller was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday by the league office following his performance against New Mexico State.
Weller (Twinsburg, Ohio) received the weekly honor after he connected on 3-of-4 field goals, hitting from 37, 25 and 26 yards out.
