  • 2002 Ohio Football Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio ? Saturday?s telecast of the Ohio at Bowling Green football game has been added to ESPN Gameplan?s lineup, the Ohio Athletics Department announced today. The game will now be made available nationwide to college football fans who subscribe to the pay-per-view package.

It is the first-ever Ohio Sports Network telecast to be picked up by Gameplan, according to Ohio Athletics Director of Broadcasting Derek Scott. ?This is a huge bonus for our TV package and a great thing for Ohio alums and Bobcat fans across the country,? said Scott. ?Greater exposure is a key to the growth of OSN and this confirms that our network is growing.?

The OSN-TV schedule kicks off Saturday when Ohio visits Bowling Green at 4:00 p.m. Two weeks later, the OSN will provide coverage of the Bobcats? visit to Kent State. Kickoff on the Oct. 19 matchup is set for 2:00 p.m. The 80th gridiron meeting between Ohio and Miami concludes the schedule on Nov. 2 with airtime slated for 1:00 p.m.

OSN-TV affiliates for the 2002 season include WHCP-TV for viewers in Southeast Ohio and the Ohio News Network (ONN) for viewers elsewhere in the state. And as always, OSN-TV will work with the Ohio University Alumni Association to provide satellite broadcasts to alumni chapters across the country.
