ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio senior quarterback Tyler Tettleton was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week on Monday by the league.
Tettleton received the weekly honor for the fifth time in his career after he went 23-of-30 passing for a career-high 375 yards to help lead the Bobcats to a 56-28 win at Eastern Michigan. He also threw a career-best four touchdowns in the win.
Tettleton's four touchdown passes marked the eighth time in his career in which he has thrown three-or-more touchdown passes in a single game. It also marked the seventh time in his career in which he has thrown for over 300 yards.
Kickoff for Ohio's contest against Miami is set for 2 p.m. inside Peden Stadium and will be broadcast live on ESPN3. The game can also be heard live on the Ohio IMG Sports Radio Network on 18 stations and in three different states.
Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game for the #GhostOut.
