Ohio-Temple Game Time Moved to 11 A.M.

ATHENS, Ohio-The Mid-American Conference office has announced that the Ohio-Temple football game on Friday, Nov. 27, which could decide the MAC East title, has been moved to 11 a.m. and will be carried on ESPNU.

 

The Bobcats (7-3 overall, 5-1 MAC) have displayed the most opportunistic defense in all of college football this season, leading the nation in turnovers forced (30). On the offensive side of the ball, the wideout trio of LaVon Brazill, Terrence McCrae and Taylor Price have combined for 1,474 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

 

The Owls (8-2 overall, 6-0 MAC) are led by freshman running back Bernard Pierce, who averaged a league-best 130.8 yards per game on the ground with 15 touchdowns. Sophomore Adrian Robinson, Jr. also boasts a league-high 10 sacks from his defensive end spot.

 

Ohio defeated Buffalo 27-24 Tuesday on ESPN2, while Temple erased an early deficit at Akron and cruised to a 56-17 victory on EPSNU. Ohio hosts Northern Illinois at 2 p.m. Saturday, while the Owls host Kent State that same day at 1 p.m.
