CLEVELAND, Ohio-Ohio running back Joshua Abrams (Dunwoody, Ga.) has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Co-Special Teams Player of the Week by the league office, following the Bobcats' 38-29 victory over Miami Saturday afternoon.

Abrams delivered a crucial blow to the RedHawks when he ripped off a 93-yard kickoff return for Ohio's last touchdown of the contest. The score, which stands as Ohio's fourth-longest kick return in program history, put the Bobcats up 35-26 with 7:10 remaining in the contest. His 196 total kickoff return yards for the game represents a new school record and his 49 yards per return now ranks second all-time in school history.

Ohio finished the season 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the MAC.
