ATHENS, Ohio-Graduate student kicker Michael Braunstein, senior offensive tackle Matt Miller and senior running back Kalvin McRae were named to Rivals.com's All-MAC team Friday afternoon. All three were also named to the All-MAC team last week.
Braunstein (Gilbert, Az.) finished the season with a school-records in field goals (20) and extra-point percentage (100.0, 38-38). His 83.3 percent field goal percentage this season also now stands as Ohio's top career mark as well.
McRae (Decatur, Ga.) rewrote much of Ohio's record book over the course of his career and 2007 was no different. He finished his career as the school's leader in rushing yards (4,398), 100-yard rushing games (21), rush attempts (909), rushing yards per game (91.6), all-purpose yards (5,248) and tied for the total touchdowns mark (49). In 2007, he set single-season school records with 1,434 rushing yards, 19 rushing touchdowns, 294 rush attempts and 119.5 rushing yards per game. He will also participate in the Hula Bowl on January 12, 2008.
Miller (Mechanicsville, Ga.), who started at right guard, graded out at 89 percent this season with 52.5 pancake blocks and eight decleaters. He helped pave the way for a Bobcat team that tallied the most passing yards (2,564), the most passing touchdowns (17) and the second-highest total of points (366) in the program's history.
