LOGAN, Ohio -- The Ohio University football team took time out of its 2013 Beef `O' Brady's Bowl preparation to lend a helping hand at the Southeast Ohio Food Bank this week.
The Bobcats put canned goods, cereal, juice and pasteurized milk into boxes and loaded them on pallets. The entire roster took part, with the defense helping out on Monday and the offense doing its part on Tuesday.
Ohio (7-5, 4-4 MAC) makes its fifth straight bowl appearance next Monday (Dec. 23) when it battles East Carolina University in the Beef `O' Brady's Bowl at Tropicana Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
