ATHENS, Ohio - Junior wide receiver Chase Cochran gives fans an inside look to bowl week as the Ohio University football team prepares for its matchup with East Carolina in the 2013 Beef `O' Brady's Bowl.
Thursday marked the last day of practice on campus before we head South for the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl. For our seniors this was their last practice inside Peden Stadium.
Without all of their hard work, we would not be in the position we are today. Our seniors have played a huge role in helping our team to five straight bowl games and it is something that this whole university can be proud of (only 21 schools in the country have been to five straight bowls)! Not only that, but we have a chance at our third straight bowl win!
For most, Christmas comes on Dec. 25 but in Athens, Ohio, Christmas came a little early. A picture below shows the bowl gifts that the Beef O'Bradys bowl gave us. The players we were pumped about the gifts!
Tomorrow morning we leave for sunny Florida at 9 a.m. I'm sure the weather down South will be much different from the winter days we have had here!
Upon our arrival we will check into our hotel, but shortly after that we will head out to sea for a dinner cruise with East Carolina.
In the days that follow we will have a beach party and other beach related activities, so be sure to check out the blog for updates throughout the week!
