ATHENS, Ohio - Junior wide receiver Chase Cochran gives fans an inside look to bowl week as the Ohio University football team prepares for its matchup with East Carolina in the 2013 Beef `O' Brady's Bowl.
Today was our second day in St. Pete and just like the first day, we had great weather.
We got an early start to the day with a wake up call at 9 a.m. and breakfast as a team.
Before heading off to practice we spent some time watching film with our position groups. Around 12:30 it was time to head to Tropicana Field to get our final practice in of the year. It went really well and the team looked ready to go for Monday.
Once practice was done the team put on their swim trunks because it was time for the beach bash. It was awesome to be able to hang out on the beach. Not to mention all of our fans that attended the event and cheered us on during the competitions. Be sure to check out some of the photos by clicking here
After the beach bash the team was given some free time. My family is in town, so I went off with them to have some dinner and catch a boat parade. Unlike the Christmas parades I have been to in Ohio, this one was on the water.
Tomorrow is another big day for the 'Cats, as we continue to prepare for this game. We have a mid day walk thru and then team meal later that night. We are getting closer and closer to kick off! We are ready!
