Men's Golf Surges To Fourth At Earl Yestingsmeier Invite

Four Bobcats recorded top-20 finishes to send Ohio to its best finish of the season

2013-14: Played in three tournaments for the Bobcats as a sophomore...Put together a stroke average of 77.67 over nine rounds...Posted a t-47th finish at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in March (245, +33)...Earned his best finish of the season (t-30th) at the Earl Yestingsmeier Memorial Invitational in April...Posted a second-round 72 (his season-low round) in Muncie.

2012-13: Saw action in three tournaments on the year...Posted a 78.22 scoring average...Top finish (t-26th) came at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invite (Oct. 15-16) where he posted a three-round score of 226 (+16)...Finished 53rd at the Rutherford Intercollegiate (Apr. 20-21) after tallying a 22-over par 235.

High School: Won two championships during the 2011 season, earning first place at the Atlas Valley Junior Club Championship and winning top honors at the MHSAA Districts ... Finished in the top ten on five separate occasions during the 2011 season ... Named the Grand Blanc Varsity Golf MVP during the 2011 season ... Earned KLAA All-Conference Golf and Academic awards in addition to being named an All-State Honorable Mention ... Golfed at Grand Blanc High School in Grand Blanc, Mich.
