KAUIA, Hawaii - The Ohio men's golf squad finished second out of nine teams at the Kauia Collegiate Invitational in Hawai'i.

Mark Cimarolli (Pittsburgh, Pa.) finished fourth overall in the tournament and led all six Ohio golfers with a 54-hole score of 213, including an Ohio best 69 in the event's first round.

Ryan Siekmann (Dublin, Ohio) finished second among the Ohio golfers and finished seventh overall. He shot a 70 in the first and third rounds and finished with a 216.

Mark Phillips (Hilliard, Ohio) finished third on the Ohio scorecard with a 217, including a team-best 70 in the second round.

Grant Christman (Columbus, Ohio) posted a 224, including a 73 in the first and third rounds. Chad Warmbein closed out the Ohio scorecard with a 229, including a three-round low 74 in the third to finish with a 229.

"For not having much experience, we did pretty good this weekend," Ohio Director of Golf Bob Cooley said. "We built a lot of confidence going into next weekend."

The Bobcat men will compete in the Eastern Invitational March 30-31, in Richmond, Ky.
