SUGAR GROVE, Ill. - With inclement weather preventing the final round of play at the 2012 Mid-American Conference Men's Golf Championships, all results from Saturday become final. Ohio Men's Golf placed third at the tournament, shooting a three-round score of 896.
The Bobcats finished just one stroke out of second place, as Eastern Michigan earned second with a score of 895. Kent State took first place at the tournament, shooting an 855 through 54 holes.
The third-place finish at the championships is the best finish achieved by the Bobcats since the 2004 season when they finished second.
For his stellar performances throughout the season, Ohio's Paul Grauer (Dublin, Ohio) was named to the All-MAC Second Team.
