Men's Golf Moves Up Two Spots At Mission Hills

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Juniors Stewart Jamieson and Chad Warmbein posted identical rounds of 72 on Saturday to lead the Ohio University men's golf team to a total of 298 (+14) in the second round, moving from 11th place to ninth at the Mission Inn Collegiate Classic. The Bobcats will enter Sunday's final round with a total of 605 (+37), just two strokes behind eighth-place Western Kentucky. Jamieson (Worthington, Ohio) turned in his second-consecutive round of 72 (+1) on Saturday, and will enter tomorrow's final round in a tie for 11th place with a total of 144 (+2). Warmbein (McMurray, Pa.) bettered his first-round score by eight strokes with an 82 on Saturday, and will begin play tomorrow in a tie for 29th with a total of 152 (+10). Freshman John Mlynarski (St. Michaels, Md.) and junior Tim Gusweiler (Loveland, Ohio) both carded six-over rounds of 77 on Saturday, and will begin play tomorrow tied for 50th and 54th, respectively, with scores of 155 (+13) and 156 (+14). Senior James Ellis (McMurray, Pa.) rounded out the Ohio lineup with a 78 (+7) in the third round, and will also tee off tomorrow in a 54th-place tie, having accumulated a total of 156 (+14) over the first two days. The final round of the Mission Hills Collegiate Classic is scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m. ET.
